Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Cryptopix Q-SEAL ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Service Description

CryptoPIX Q-Seal is a secure file transfer service that provides:

  • End-to-end encrypted file sharing
  • Burn-on-read functionality
  • Time capsule scheduling
  • API access (Enterprise tier)
  • Zero-knowledge storage

3. User Responsibilities

You Must:

  • Provide accurate account information
  • Verify your mobile number (for uploads)
  • Keep your account credentials secure
  • Use the Service lawfully
  • Respect intellectual property rights

You Must Not:

  • Upload illegal content (CSAM, terrorism, etc.)
  • Violate copyright or trademark laws
  • Distribute malware or viruses
  • Abuse the Service (spam, DDoS, etc.)
  • Attempt to hack or reverse-engineer
  • Share API keys publicly

4. Prohibited Content

The following content is strictly prohibited:

  • Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) - Zero tolerance
  • Terrorism-related content - Immediate takedown
  • Illegal drugs or weapons
  • Pirated software or media
  • Malware, viruses, or exploits
  • Harassment or hate speech

⚠️ Violations will result in immediate account termination and reporting to authorities.

5. Subscription & Billing

Free Tier

  • Limited uploads (5 per day)
  • 100MB storage limit
  • 24-hour maximum expiry
  • No payment required

Pro & Elite Plans (Prepaid Subscriptions)

Payment Processing:

  • Processed via Razorpay (PCI DSS compliant)
  • We do not store your card details
  • Accepts UPI, Cards, Net Banking, Wallets
  • All payments in INR (₹)

Billing Cycle:

  • Monthly billing on subscription date
  • Auto-renewal enabled by default
  • Email notification 3 days before renewal
  • Prices include 18% GST

Cancellation:

  • Cancel anytime from Dashboard → Subscription
  • Access continues until current period ends
  • No charges after cancellation
  • Can resubscribe at any time

Refund Policy:

  • Within 7 days: Full refund if no seals created
  • After 7 days: Pro-rated refund for unused days
  • Refund processing: 5-7 business days
  • No refund: If account suspended for violations

Failed Payments:

  • 3 retry attempts over 7 days
  • Account downgraded to Free tier after failed retries
  • Active seals remain accessible for 30 days

Enterprise Plan (Postpaid)

Pricing Model:

  • Usage-based: ₹3-10 per seal (volume discounts apply)
  • Minimum commitment: ₹5,000/month
  • API calls metered separately
  • Custom pricing for 10,000+ seals/month

Billing & Invoicing:

  • Monthly invoices sent on 1st of each month
  • Payment due within 15 days (Net 15)
  • Late payments: 2% monthly interest
  • Suspension after 30 days of non-payment

Contract Terms:

  • Minimum 3-month commitment
  • 30-day notice required for cancellation
  • Annual contracts: 15% discount available
  • Custom SLA available

Price Changes:

We reserve the right to modify pricing with 30 days notice. Existing subscribers maintain current pricing for their billing cycle. New prices apply upon renewal.

6. Data & Privacy

Zero-Knowledge Encryption

We cannot access your file contents. Decryption keys are stored in URL fragments only.

Metadata Retention

We retain metadata (file size, timestamps, IP addresses) for 180 days as per IT Rules 2021.

Burn-on-Read

Files are automatically deleted after viewing or expiry. No recovery possible.

7. Limitation of Liability

CryptoPIX Q-Seal is provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind.

We are NOT liable for:

  • Lost or corrupted files
  • Service interruptions or downtime
  • Third-party actions (hacking, etc.)
  • Misuse of the Service by users
  • Data loss due to user error

Maximum Liability: Limited to fees paid in the last 12 months.

8. Termination

By You

You may delete your account at any time. Active seals will be deleted within 24 hours.

By Us

We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations, non-payment, or legal requirements.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be notified via email.
